About This Collection

Kensington - Timeless and transitional, with a crackled mercury patina and the distinct imperfections of hand blown glass adding to an earthy vibe that works for every season and any decor style.

About Candle Snuffers

A very practical and decorative tool for any candle user. This candle snuffer covers the flame to cut off the air flow and extinguish it without any splattering wax.

Ref: 1614150

Yankee Candle was created on Christmas 1969. Sixteen-year-old Mike Kittredge, too broke to buy his mother a present, melted some crayons to make her a candle. A neighbour saw it and convinced Mike to sell the candle to her. With that small stake, he bought enough wax to make two candles - one for his mom, and another to sell.

Candle Care

Trim your wick

Use a handy Wick Trimmer to keep your wick neat and tidy. Trim your wick to 3mm before each burn.

Allow to Pool

Let the top layer of wax liquefy and pool to the edges to avoid tunnelling. We recommend, that for every 1cm in diameter, you burn for 30 minutes - so a Large Jar Candle would be 4 hours.

Use a candle snuffer

Gently dowse the flame when you’re done to prevent smoking and wax escaping the candle.
